At Miracle Temple Church of God in Christ of Norwalk you are welcome to share a worship experience where life, joy and the power of the Holy Spirit are evident. We call ourselves Miracle Temple because not only is the Word taught, but miracles are wrought. And what greater miracle than to see lives changed, from sin to salvation, failure to favor, grief to grace and poverty to prosperity.
It is true there are those who say and would have you dwell on the negative dimension of the historical moment; the poverty, the homelessness, the crises in the mortgage market, energy cost, climate change, etc. At Miracle Temple we choose rather to focus on and be empowered by the Word of God. "I can do everything through Him who gives me strength" (Phil. 4:13). Or, "Therefore, I tell you whatever you ask for in prayer believe that you have received it and it will be yours" (Mark 11:24).
At Miracle Temple we do reach out to address the needs of the community, but we believe it is the Word of God that is the compass that gives meaning and direction to the whole of life. A staple of our ministry is Jeremiah 3:15, "And I will give you pastors according to mine heart which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding."
Miracle Temple is that house of worship where HOPE is offered, SOLUTIONS are found, the WORD is preached, CHRIST is exalted, the HOLY SPIRIT is active and LIVES are changed. We would love for you to share this experience with us. Our Sunday service is at 9:00 AM.

The Church of Jesus Christ should always focus on the kingdom because it is the kingdom of God that Jesus came to inaugurate. He was quite clear in this when He taught His disciples to pray in St. Matthew 6:10 - "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven."
All of our energy as believers must, therefore, be channeled towards sharing the news of the kingdom with all with whom we have contact and association
"Go and make disciples of all nations…" (Matthew 28:19 This is our mandate! From the beginning, God was interested in multiplication (the goal of Outreach). God told the very first family to "Be fruitful and multiply (Gen. 1:28). With the second "beginning" under Noah, God told those eight survivors to "go out…be fruitful and multiply)" Gen 9:17. And with our "new Life" in Christ, can we, Christ's bride, the Church, do less than to heed our mandate to "Go and make disciples?" John says that every branch that abides in him, the Lord will prune so that it will become even more fruitful (John 15:2). Being fruitful is the goal. For Miracle Temple, "Outreach" is taken seriously.
